Exciting times for Woodside

Big things are coming to Woodside, and we can’t wait!

Queens Cross Housing Association and Sustrans have partnered up to launch the ‘Making Places’ initiative, which seeks to transform this corner of Maryhill.

In line with the ‘Connecting Woodside’ project, making places seeks to give the local community a say in what new and exciting changes will be made. As a result of this engagement, plans have been set to renew pedestrian areas, improve cycling paths and facilities, and transform outdoor spaces into growing gardens.

Funded by Queens Cross Housing Association and Transport Scotland, these changes aim to support a more sustainable and vibrant community for the people of Woodside.

Queens Cross Workspace have four vacant spaces in the heart of this transforming community, giving businesses the opportunity to contribute to this exciting new space, whilst benefitting from the regeneration in the surrounding area. These spaces sit at the bottom of the award winning Cedar Court flats, a link with more information can be found at the bottom of this article.
