Cedar Court receives COP26 admiration
Recently renovated Cedar Court flats were praised by over 20 organisations from Belgium
During COP26, Cedar Court attracted attention from over 20 Belgian delegates, admiring the eco-friendly and forward thinking project.
The renovation of the Cedar Court high rises was a project commissioned to address fuel poverty, whilst using sustainable resources.
The project architects took a fabric first approach in order to significantly reduce energy demand and associated carbon emissions. This was achieved and now all three blocks have improved low energy lighting, new insulation, modern controllable heating and hot water systems and triple glazed windows.
Since complete, energy demand has been slashed by 80 per cent for residents.
The Cedar Court flats are an exceptional part of Woodside, and Queens Cross Workspace want to add to this success by finding the right businesses to operate from commercial spaces now available on the ground floor.
