HARD WORKING SPACES FOR HARD WORKING PEOPLE

CHOOSE TO LIVE HERE, CHOOSE TO WORK HERE

WHAT IS QUEENS CROSS WORKSPACE?

Queens Cross Workspace is part of the Queens Cross Group. A collection of companies including Queens Cross Housing Association that works hard to improve the local area of Queens Cross.

Established in 1985 the Queens Cross Workspace charity aims to provide affordable, high quality, hard working business space to local businesses.

We own and operate office buildings, workshops, high street retail, warehouses, trade counters and everything inbetween.

We work closely with local charities and organisations to help businesses get started, establish networks and grow to their full potential.

Our profits are reinvested into the local community supporting apprenticeships, trainee programs, community gardens, childrens and senior’s activity programs.

We are always looking for new opportunities to develop, renovate and inovate.

If you have an exciting new idea for a business, an idea for us as a company or an opportunity to partner on why not get in touch?

 FAQs

  • Payment of rent and service charge should be done via standing order, which can be easily set up through online banking. For any payment issues, please contact our finance team by emailing finance@qcgroup.co.uk

  • Yes, all of our properties require a deposit which will be agreed before your move-in-date. Unless there are any breaches of the lease agreement, or costs to recover for damage, the deposit will be returned in full upon exit.

  • The service charge varies across each of our property’s, as some involve more services than others. The different costs taken into account include insurance, grounds maintenance, repairs, and communal utilities. We try our best to keep the overall cost as low as possible each year and we are always transparent with tenants if any increases occur.

  • Tenants are responsible for all utility charges including water, electricity, and gas where applicable. When occupying a commercial property, tenants are also liable for business rates, however many of our properties qualify for rates relief. This must be applied for through Glasgow City Council.

  • As per the obligations outlined in the lease, tenant’s are responsible for most repairs inside the unit. We can assist you in finding the right contractor, so if you are ever in doubt please get in touch.

Any issues related to the communal areas of a building, such as the fire and security alarms, as well as common windows, doors, and bathrooms should be reported to us as soon as possible as we have central maintenance contracts covering these.

  • Many of our properties are snapped up quickly due to high demand. The best way to stay informed and ensure you don’t miss out is to get added to our enquiry list. Here, you will be notified of any current and upcoming availability. To do so, you can complete the form here.
