New Grounds for Care Response 24/7

Even throughout the pandemic, Care Response 24/7 have managed to expand their business and consequently, their office space. Care Response 24/7 have been a tenant of Firhill Business Centre for just over two years, and it has been wonderful to watch them grow throughout this time. Care Response 24/7 recruit, develop and support outstanding Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) and Support Workers (SWs) to meet a wide range of care needs.

As many businesses did, Care Response 24/7 faced challenges in March 2020 as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Despite having to adapt their services and processes to fit in with the new guidelines, Care Response 24/7 got through these tough months and came out the other end in September 2020 much stronger. In October 2020 they had to move to a bigger space with Queens Cross Workspace due to increasing demand for their services and an influx of staff and temporary workers.

Fast forward to today, January 2022, this exceptional organisation have six office support staff, along with over 150 workers who provide services for multiple clients across Glasgow, North Lanarkshire, East Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire, West Dunbartonshire, Inverclyde and Falkirk. This has caused Care Response to rent a second space in Firhill Business Centre, with a combined sqft of 1,763.

Louise Connell, the director of Care Response 24/7 says that ‘Firhill Business Centre is a great location for us and easy for all to find, whether they drive or use public transport. Our neighbours are all great, helpful and understanding when we have noisy training days on’.

We are so pleased to see them grow, and are excited to see what the future holds for them.
