NEW CAFE ON THE BLOCK
Calling all Glasgow foodies, we have exciting news to share…
A new café has opened at 846 Garscube Road. Taking Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s nickname, Toshie’s is a long-awaited addition to our community in the Queens Cross area. Whether you are a resident living nearby, or work in the surrounding businesses, you’ll want to have Toshie’s at the top of your must-try list.
The community café is ran by the Courtyard Pantry, a Scottish charity who aim to support those who need it; their newest venture with Toshie’s is no different. They have been fulfilling their aims by bringing jobs to the local area, and assisting people getting back into work.
Toshie’s menu is perfect for both food-lovers and those just fuelling up for their day. With classic sandwiches, exciting daily specials, freshly baked goods and delicious coffee, there is something that everyone can enjoy. If that wasn’t enticing enough, they also provide gluten-free and vegan options; and it’s super affordable too.
The local artwork featured on the walls creates an enjoyable and welcoming atmosphere, and is even available to buy with 100% of the proceeds going straight to the artist.
They are open from 8am-3pm Mondays to Fridays.
What are you waiting for? Go support this great local business in their mission to do good through food.
